This fantastic commission from Kakou CIC was all about raising more awareness of the plastic in our oceans. Participants engaged with creating and customising recycled plastic bottles using marker and paint pens. They were then put together to create this wonderful sculpture. It was a joy to build and I had a HUGE amount of plastic bottles lying around the house, car and my place of work for months!
The finished sculpture was displayed in the Chesterfield Museum along with other environmental exhibits and information.
