This piece of work was born from the idea of purpose a collaboration between myself and my friend and artist Erin Warnock. We set the goal of just allowing ourselves to explore, go wild and create. It beca
me clear from the outset that the work was predominantly based around self exploration, mental health and actualisation. We embraced all the aspects of our personality and brain, having fun and making art to free our soul.
I have learned to embrace the chaos,
because beauty lies in imperfection,
my truth also exists in this place.
The unique truth that belongs to each person.
We can change the world with this truth,
extinguish fires
demolish walls
scale mountains
If I can just embrace and hold the messy, erratic, beautiful chaos, that so often burns my hands.
